Helly Hansen is seeking an experienced store manager for its Shop in Shop at Steen & Strøm in Oslo.

 Specific responsibilites will include:

  • Store operations, including payroll management, staff scheduling and overall store management
  • Creating marketing strategies
  • Supervising, training and developing store staff
  • Overseeing merchandising for most effective visual appeal
  • Assisting customers with puchases
  • Answering questions about performance and technical aspects of our products

The successful candidate will have:

  • 2 to 5+ years of retail store management experience
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • A passion for the outdoors
  • Sporting goods or outdoor apparel retail experience is an asset

From our Central European Office, based in Munchen, Helly Hansen Workwear ervice various international markets. Due to increased demand in iur organization we need to expand our young and ambitious team in Munchen.

Task and responsibilites:

  • Coordination of sales process, order entry, follow up on shipments, inquiry of cistomers, ets.
  • Professional and long term service to customers
  • Proactive selling to customers
  • Ongoing contact with Sales Area Manager concerning customers
  • Contact with different departments in Helly Hansen

Experience/qualifications:

  • Working experience in Customers Service Job or Logistics/Export
  • Feeling for the needs of customers and being able to turn complain into postive sales
  • Experience in ERP systems as an active user of different systems, for instance Windows, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Indesign
  • Very good knowledge of English and German. Good knowledge of French , Italian and Dutch.
